Vertical heterogeneous networks (VHetNets) integrate space networks (comprising low, medium, and geostationary Earth orbit satellites), air networks (including High Altitude Platform Station (HAPS) and unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)), and terrestrial networks (comprising macro and micro base stations) to deliver comprehensive global coverage in 6G and beyond.
